Our purpose is to ensure that every patient who comes to Sewell Dental Designs has an exceptional experience every time they visit.The dental professionals in our office take the time to show and educate you as you experience all aspects of your dental needs. We help achieve this goal of “teaching” with hygiene visits twice a year, a goal that can eliminate gum disease and future dental work for a lifetime. Our wish for you and your family is to achieve the goal of never needing dental work in the future.

Your first visit to Sewell Dental Designs involves a few special steps so that we can get to know you, once you schedule your initial visit with our office you will be sent New Patient Forms via text or email.
What To Expect: Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the doctor has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. Financial Policy: Sewell Dental Designs requires all payments for treatment to be paid at the time services are scheduled. All emergency dental services and any dental services performed without previous financial arrangements must be paid for in cash at the time services are scheduled. Fee estimates for dental care can only be extended for a period of six months from the date of consultation. Parents or guardians of a minor are responsible for full payment. Payments for treatment must be paid for minors when services are scheduled.
Insurance: As a special service to you, we assist our patients in filing insurance claims so that they may receive the full benefit available from their insurance coverage. We allow you to use your insurance benefits to lower your portion of the cost of treatment, rather than paying the full fee prior to service and waiting for reimbursement from the insurance company. In relieving you of this financial burden, we allow ourselves to be vulnerable to the insurance company; therefore, we ask that your financial portion is paid in full to reserve your appointment at our office. When benefits are assigned directly to our office; if the insurance company sends a check to you in error, we will hold you responsible for immediate and complete reimbursement. In the event this were to happen, mail the check or bring it to our office; do not cash or deposit the check. Although we check your insurance eligibility, it is your responsibility to let us know of any changes to your insurance. Any fees not paid by the insurance company will be the responsibility of the patient.
Regarding your co-pay: All fees for treatment must be paid when scheduling your appointment; this allows Sewell Dental Designs to reserve time for your appointment in our schedule. We accept payments in the form of cash, check, all major credit cards, as well as offer third party financing. Patients paying in full for treatment over $1,000 will receive a 5% bookkeeping discount. If an account needs to be turned over to a collection agency, there will be an administrative fee in addition to the patients outstanding balance.
Missed Appointments: Our policy is to charge for missed appointments unless cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. You will be charged $80 for a missed appointment without 24 hours' notice. Please help us serve you better by keeping scheduled appointments.
